How it works

1

Provide a video URL

Host your video at a direct, publicly reachable HTTPS URL. MP4, MOV, and WebM are supported up to 500 MiB and 1080p in landscape or portrait. The video must contain speech and an audio track.

Create a caption job

Call Create subtitles, choose a preset, and set a duration limit. The API returns a job ID and a status URL immediately.

Check progress

Poll Get job every five seconds while your video is downloaded, transcribed, and rendered.

Download your results

When the status is completed, download the video, subtitles, and transcript. Results are retained for 24 hours; copy them to your own storage before they expire.
